Systems Engineer – MRT/LTA Rail Projects

About the role

Navsar Global is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a leading urban mobility client on Singapore’s MRT driverless line projects. The role involves designing, integrating and commissioning automated rail systems for LTA initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the client, LTA stakeholders and project teams.
• Drive the full project lifecycle from concept and detailed design through integration, testing and commissioning of driverless MRT lines.
• Support project planning, scheduling, risk assessment and progress reporting.
• Participate in design reviews, ensuring compliance with LTA standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate execution activities with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Investigate technical issues, troubleshoot and propose solutions throughout all phases.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, specifications and reports.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Systems or related).
• 1‑5 years of experience in rail systems, mass‑transit or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Singapore MRT or LTA projects is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with automated driverless train technologies such as CBTC and ATO.
• Understanding of project management principles and engineering design processes.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
