Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Huawei is looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruitment initiatives across the APAC region. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with internal teams and academic partners to attract top technical and R&D talent.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and attract high‑calibre candidates through global competitions, academic platforms and leading conferences.
• Lead talent attraction and recruitment activities for APAC markets including Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and the UAE.
• Design and execute campus recruitment and internship hiring strategies for technical and R&D roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and build robust pipelines.
• Represent Huawei at academic and talent events to strengthen employer branding.
• Travel across the APAC region as required (approximately once per month).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably with campus recruitment and internship hiring.
• Experience organizing employer branding or talent engagement initiatives such as hackathons or competitions.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with universities and academic institutions.
• Excellent project management, communication skills in English and Chinese, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
