Tax Manager

About the role

Heineken is looking for a Tax Manager to lead strategic and operational tax activities across its APBS region. The role will provide comprehensive tax advisory, compliance and planning support to ensure the company meets its fiscal obligations while optimizing tax efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee corporate, indirect, transfer pricing and withholding tax matters.
• Prepare, review and file corporate tax returns and withholding tax filings on schedule.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Assess uncertain tax positions and provide recommendations for reporting.
• Lead year‑end tax provision, deferred tax calculations and tax incentive management.
• Review quarterly GST returns and administer GST schemes.
• Coordinate tax audit resolutions and handle controversies.
• Collaborate with business units to structure transactions for tax efficiency.
• Monitor daily cash positions and forecast monthly cash flow for treasury reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in tax or accountancy.
• Minimum 8 years of tax experience in a Big‑Four firm or MNC tax function.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and as part of a team.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Expertise in transfer pricing rules and documentation.
• Experience with tax provision, deferred tax and GST compliance.
