Tax Manager

About the role

Huawei is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead Singapore tax compliance, transfer pricing, and international tax matters. The role involves providing tax advisory support to business units and ensuring alignment with global tax policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Singapore corporate income tax, withholding tax and related compliance, preparing and filing returns with IRAS.
• Monitor Singapore tax legislation, update management, and handle tax queries, audits and assessments.
• Prepare tax forecasts, budgets, cash‑flow projections and effective tax rate analyses.
• Collaborate with the Group Transfer Pricing team and external advisors to maintain documentation, review inter‑company transactions and support transfer‑pricing audits.
• Assist with international tax requirements, including OECD BEPS and Pillar Two rules, coordinating calculations, reporting and filings.
• Provide tax advice on new initiatives, contracts and restructurings, identifying risks and delivering practical solutions.
• Lead or support tax‑related projects and ad‑hoc assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Professional qualification such as Singapore CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 5–8 years of tax experience in a professional services firm, multinational, or both.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore corporate tax, withholding tax and transfer pricing.
• Good understanding of international tax, including Pillar Two, is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin proficiency required for communication with headquarters.
