Technical Business Analyst

About the role

Shuru is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to turn business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. You will work closely with clients, product teams and engineers to improve processes and support successful software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and requirement documents.
• Work with engineering teams to define system behaviour, data flows, APIs and integration requirements.
• Analyse existing processes and systems to find gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with QA teams on test scenarios, support user acceptance testing and coordinate stakeholder sign-off.
• Manage requirement changes, assess their impact and keep traceability throughout delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in technical business analysis for software development or IT projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Scrum.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Experience supporting testing, issue clarification and business validation.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SQL, databases, REST APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and process-mapping tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
