Technical Consultant - Digital Identity & Fraud Detection

About the role

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of the Business Services vertical, offers solutions in anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, identity authentication, fraud and credit risk mitigation and customer data management. Its Technical Consultant team specialises in fraud detection, digital identity and behavioural biometrics. As a Technical Consultant you will act as a subject matter expert in digital identity, device intelligence, behavioural biometrics and fraud detection technologies, supporting clients through the full lifecycle of solution design and integration.

You will work closely with pre-sales, fraud strategy, product, engineering and client stakeholders to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of the ThreatMetrix Dynamic Decision Platform (DDP) suite of products.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor during client onboarding and implementation of ThreatMetrix, translating business requirements into fraud detection rules and integration plans.
• Run technical workshops, solution walkthroughs and configuration sessions with clients.
• Lead implementation of DDP and supporting SDKs, APIs and policy configurations across web and mobile environments.
• Support client teams with troubleshooting, testing and go-live activities, and collaborate with engineering teams on complex issues.
• Configure custom rules and decisioning logic in the ThreatMetrix policy engine.
• Work with fraud strategy and risk teams to align technical configurations with risk appetite, and support product and pre-sales with technical guidance.

Required profile

• Prior experience in software engineering or mobile application development (native or hybrid).
• At least 2+ years of experience implementing solutions for enterprise clients.
• Strong consulting and client management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Willingness to learn new technologies as new products are acquired.
• Good to have: fluency in a second language, Mandarin preferred.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, JavaScript and mobile SDKs (iOS/Android)
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or other data analytics capabilities
• Good to have: digital identity signals, device fingerprinting and behavioural biometrics; business rule writing for real-time decisioning; background in financial services, fintech or e-commerce risk; familiarity with other fraud platforms such as BioCatch, Kount and Riskified
