Technical Delivery Manager

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to lead end‑to‑end technology delivery engagements for our banking and digital finance clients. The role combines strong project governance with deep technical expertise in Java‑based micro‑services ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and govern complex technology programmes, tracking dependencies, risks and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulatory requirements, security standards, audit controls and fraud/risk management practices.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews and oversee release and deployment governance.
• Drive Agile/Scrum delivery, manage sprint ceremonies and champion continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in technical delivery management.
• Proven experience in banking, financial services or large‑scale digital banking programmes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, security and compliance frameworks.

Required skills

• Java 8, 11, 17, 21; multithreading, concurrency, JVM performance tuning, collections, OOP and design patterns.
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC.
• Microservices architecture, RESTful API design, event‑driven architecture.
• Oracle, MySQL databases.
• Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ messaging.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies, code reviews, release & deployment governance.
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, Geneos.
• Collaboration & ALM tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
• Professional certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe) are a plus.
