Technical Director – Mechanical

About the role

Aurecon Singapore is seeking a Technical Director for its Mechanical discipline to lead complex, high‑value projects across the region. You will join the Buildings business and work with a team of specialists to turn innovative ideas into reality for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client plans, nurture relationships, and drive revenue and utilization targets.
• Lead proposal and tender development, including bid planning, costing, technical input and sign‑off.
• Oversee full project delivery: contract negotiation, schedule, quality, risk, financial performance, communication and scope management.
• Ensure effective project close‑out and debrief with clients and internal teams.
• Manage project profitability, aligning performance with budgets and business plans.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and competency development for the Mechanical team.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for re‑imagining engineering and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Proven experience in senior or director‑level roles within mechanical engineering or construction.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to secure and grow business.
