Technical Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Officer to support technical investigations and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for aviation‑sector properties. The role requires strong problem‑solving abilities, solid knowledge of building and M&E systems, and effective coordination with service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Review preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure compliance with quality, safety standards and regulations.
• Lead technical investigations in response to fault calls.
• Maintain and update documentation on procedures and maintenance schedules.
• Track inventory levels of spare parts, consumables and non‑consumable items.
• Prepare technical and monthly reports as required.
• Conduct risk assessments in line with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies.
• Initiate and track purchase requisitions, costings and work order closures.
• Liaise with term and ad‑hoc contractors, coordinate approvals, and report progress and completion.
• Report to the Engineer and designated supervisor on any ad‑hoc matters.

Required profile

• Competent problem‑solver with a hands‑on approach.
• Strong technical knowledge of building and M&E maintenance.
• Ability to work independently on site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
