Technical Product Manager (CWS)

About the role

The Technical Product Manager (CWS) joins the Product Team with the Product Owner and Product Manager to manage the full product development cycle, from concept through stakeholder buy-in to delivery to end users. The role works on products in one of three domains: customer-related products (CRM, customer interaction, community engagement), employee-related products (HR, finance, payment, procurement, incident management) or building-related products (town planning, infrastructure design, construction management, estate upgrading, digital twin and spatial intelligence).

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical product roadmap aligned with business objectives, and identify opportunities and product strategies based on user needs and technical capabilities.
• Work with engineering teams on technical requirements and architecture, evaluate technical feasibility of features and balance technical debt with new features.
• Write detailed technical specifications and user stories, prioritise the product backlog and lead sprint planning and grooming sessions.
• Manage dependencies across technical workstreams and act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and software engineers, and with business process owners to gather requirements.
• Define and track KPIs, use data analytics to drive product decisions and monitor technical metrics and system performance.

Required profile

• Background in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of business analyst experience in software development projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in an Agile environment and on cloud platforms.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and prioritise tasks.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technology concepts and work across teams and with business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Business case and user story development.
• Knowledge of web, mobile and cloud technologies and their feasibility for design solutions.
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA is an added advantage.
