Technical Project Manager (AI-Enabled)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring a Technical Project Manager in Singapore. The role plans, executes and closes projects end-to-end, manages stakeholders and teams, and applies AI tools to speed up reporting, planning and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and close projects against scope, schedule, budget and quality; maintain plans, work breakdown structures, resourcing plans and roadmaps
• Track progress, financials and utilisation, and report status, variances and forecasts to stakeholders and management
• Manage scope and change control, and coordinate across workstreams, vendors and third parties
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, run steering committees and status updates, and prepare documentation, minutes and presentations
• Identify and mitigate risks, maintain risk logs, action trackers, decision logs and RAID registers, and uphold project governance standards
• Support contract, commercial and compliance matters, escalate where required
• Lead cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, designers, QA/test leads), allocate work and remove blockers
• Use AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude to accelerate reporting, minutes, documentation and data analysis, and critically review AI outputs for accuracy and confidentiality
• Run project retrospectives, share lessons learned, mentor junior project managers and contribute to improved PM tools and playbooks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience managing technology or digital transformation projects, preferably with an SI company
• Project management certification (e.g. PMP) preferred
• Demonstrated day-to-day use of AI tools for project management tasks
• Proven stakeholder management, including engagement with senior client and management stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Experience delivering at least one project with AI, GenAI or machine learning components is a plus
