Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale data centre infrastructure projects. The role combines deep technical knowledge of network, security and systems infrastructure with proven leadership of complex ICT deployment programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, baseline and continuously optimise integrated project schedules across all vendors and workstreams.
• Monitor and manage risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, critical path, commissioning and hand‑over timelines.
• Drive project governance cadence, including weekly progress reviews, risk forums and executive reporting.
• Ensure deliverables are completed safely, on time, within scope, budget and contractual quality standards.
• Identify schedule slippages early and implement recovery, acceleration and mitigation actions.
• Manage change requests, impact assessments and timeline adjustments in a controlled manner.
• Validate technical readiness, review method statements, sequencing, cut‑over, test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Handle escalations promptly and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of technical project management experience in network/security/systems infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications such as PgMP or PMP.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale data centre or ICT deployment projects.
