Technical Project Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of precision‑machined, sheet‑metal and plastic components used in semiconductor and display equipment. Based in Singapore, you will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability, cost‑effectiveness and on‑time delivery of complex parts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, tracking charts and checklists from concept through implementation.
• Coordinate deliverables across Design, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality and Supplier teams.
• Perform technical calculations and cost analysis for build‑to‑print parts and simple assemblies.
• Apply GD&T standards and DFx principles to identify cost‑reduction and avoidance opportunities.
• Maintain matrices for process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in intra‑business‑unit design teams and contribute technical expertise to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Background in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; experience with precision parts manufacturing preferred.
• Understanding of basic electrical components is desirable.
• Proven ability to lead small‑scale projects with manageable risk and resource requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on manufacturability and producibility.
