Technical Project / Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions for semiconductor and display manufacturing, is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager in Singapore. The role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects that deliver cutting‑edge equipment to customers worldwide. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and coordinate activities from planning through implementation.
• Maintain matrices for process improvements and track project schedules, costs, and resources.
• Develop reports, tracking charts, checklists, and scheduling documents to monitor progress.
• Align internal resources to meet on‑time and budget performance objectives.
• Interface with external suppliers, monitoring quality and cost metrics.
• Report progress to internal customers and ensure project objectives are met.

Required profile

• Demonstrated conceptual knowledge in the discipline with a broadening capability.
• Understanding of key business drivers and ability to apply them to project work.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory responsibilities.
• Solves straightforward problems using technical experience and judgment.
• Impacts quality of own work and that of the team while adhering to guidelines and policies.
• Communicates complex information clearly in straightforward situations.
