Technician III – Aircraft Structural Repair

About the role

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Technician III to join its Advanced Structures team in Singapore. The role focuses on inspection, mechanical repair, and assembly of aircraft structural components, supporting the development of lighter‑weight, stronger aircraft solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and document defects in Inspection Repair Records (IRR).
• Perform mechanical repair, part forming, part replacement, and assembly/disassembly tasks.
• Use alignment jigs and ASMJ equipment to execute repair schemes.
• Complete final inspections to ensure repaired parts are serviceable and ready for release.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment following 5S principles.

Required profile

• Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, repair instructions, and sketches.
• Possession of CAAS A12, B11 and L11/L12 papers is advantageous.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
