Technician – Production & Test (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technician to join our production team in Seletar, Singapore. The role focuses on manufacturing and testing of production units, ensuring performance objectives are met while adhering to Safran’s best‑practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform integration and functional testing of assigned production or customer return units.
• Follow Production Best Practices and relevant procedures (MIF, WCI, Chorus) to maintain quality control.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment with support from the M&T department.
• Manage work‑in‑progress (WIP) levels and report any anomalies or deviations.
• Participate in 5S and Kaizen initiatives to improve shop floor efficiency.
• Support administrative tasks such as raising purchase requests and archiving documents.

Required profile

• Nitec, High Nitec or Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing or test experience.
• Willingness to work in shift rotation.

Required skills

• Electronics Engineering knowledge.
• Integration and functional testing techniques.
• Test equipment calibration.
• Familiarity with MIF, WCI and Chorus procedures.
