Technology Operations Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Technology Operations Executive to support AKC’s digital systems, internal tools, automation workflows, and IT infrastructure. This graduate‑level position offers hands‑on technical work across software development, IT support, automation, data analytics and emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain in‑house software applications to support business operations.
• Implement automation solutions to improve workflow efficiency and IT processes.
• Develop and maintain APIs, scripts and system integrations.
• Configure, monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers and cloud environments.
• Ensure security, reliability and performance of IT systems.
• Manage data backups, disaster recovery plans and IT compliance.
• Develop data‑driven insights using AI, machine learning and analytics tools.
• Implement predictive analytics and automation for system optimisation.
• Work with data visualization tools to present key business metrics.
• Develop and maintain simulations for testing and training purposes.
• Optimize system performance through real‑world scenario modelling.

Required profile

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or related fields.
• Basic to intermediate coding skills in Python, JavaScript, C#, Java or PHP.
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, spreadsheets, dashboards or reporting tools.
• Interest in software development, automation, digital systems, AI tools, analytics or simulations.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, good communication skills and a can‑do attitude.
