Technology Risk Management Senior Associate

About the role

At PwC, the Technology Risk Management Senior Associate supports business and digital teams across lines of service by identifying, assessing and managing technology‑related risks. The role works with technology teams, stakeholders and regional groups to ensure responsible, secure innovation in line with internal policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and facilitate Technology Risk Assessments (TRAs) and provide recommendations.
• Support design, implementation and continuous improvement of technology risk management processes and controls.
• Develop and maintain technology risk policies, standards, guidance materials and templates.
• Assess risks associated with AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning and other emerging technologies.
• Review and risk‑assess AI‑enabled solutions used within the firm and contribute to AI governance processes.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards and metrics for leadership and governance forums.
• Analyse risk trends, identify improvement opportunities and support automation of risk assessment and reporting.
• Assist with special projects, regulatory reviews and firm‑wide risk initiatives as required.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Technology Risk Management, IT Risk, Information Security, Technology Audit or a related field.
• Proven experience conducting technology risk assessments and providing advisory support.
• Knowledge of AI, Generative AI and emerging technology risks, including responsible AI principles and governance.
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to translate risk findings into actionable recommendations.
