Temporary Radiography Assistant, Cardiac MRI

About the role

SingHealth is looking for a temporary Radiography Assistant for Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging. You will assist radiographers in MRI procedures, including patient preparation, positioning and safety screening, and help keep procedure rooms clean and ready.

Key responsibilities

• Assist radiographers in MRI procedures: patient preparation, positioning and safety screening
• Verify patient identity, measure vital signs and provide mobility assistance
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms for cleanliness, safety and operational readiness
• Support clinical operations: prepare consumables, assist with IV cannulation preparation, report faulty equipment and respond to emergencies
• Handle administrative and logistical tasks such as appointment confirmations, answering calls, e-portering requests and handling documents and specimens

Required profile

• General Diploma, GCE O'Level, N'Level or A'Level, or a Certificate in Clinic Practice/Healthcare (Administrative Support) or equivalent
• Proof of measles (or MMR) vaccination or serological evidence of immunity
• Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years, as required for healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act; applicants without them may apply if they commit to completing the vaccines before starting work
• Pleasant disposition with good communication skills
• Ability to speak a second language or dialect is an advantage for liaising with non-English-speaking patients
