Tender Engineer / Proposal Engineer – BMS & HVAC

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Tender Engineer / Proposal Engineer to join our team and support the bidding process for BMS and HVAC projects across Singapore. You will work closely with internal departments and external partners to deliver competitive and compliant proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents and ensure full understanding of project requirements.
• Prepare and compile bid proposals in line with customer specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams to respond promptly to post‑submission queries.
• Source competitive quotations from suppliers and sub‑contractors.
• Negotiate pricing with customers and sub‑contractors.
• Estimate costs and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Schedule of Rates (SOR), Schedule of Breakdown (SOK) and Schedule of Technical Data (SOT).
• Collaborate with the engineering team for smooth project handover and provide support during execution when needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the HVAC/BMS industry.

Required skills

• HVAC systems knowledge.
• Building Management System (BMS) familiarity.
• Cost estimation and preparation of BOQ, SOR, SOK, SOT.
