Tender Manager – Electrical Projects

About the role

The Tender Manager (Electrical) will lead the preparation and submission of electrical subcontract bids, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to secure new projects for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse tender documents, drawings and specifications to define scope, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bill of Quantities and technical submissions.
• Coordinate clarifications with main contractors, consultants and clients, meeting all deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and project teams to gather technical and commercial inputs.
• Support commercial negotiations, protect company interests and hand over awarded contracts to execution teams.
• Track market tenders, maintain stakeholder relationships and analyse competitor pricing to improve bid strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tendering or estimating within electrical contracting/subcontracting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
