Tenured Professor of Physics – Quantum Science & Technology

About the role

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is hiring a tenured Professor of Physics with expertise in Quantum Science and Technology. The appointment is primarily within the Division of Physics and Applied Physics of the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, with a secondary affiliation to the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality, internationally recognised research in Quantum Science and Technology.
• Lead and collaborate with other Principal Investigators to define research directions and secure competitive grants.
• Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and supervise graduate students.
• Participate in academic administration, departmental leadership, and service activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications in reputable international journals.
• Demonstrated success in obtaining competitive research funding.
• Experience supervising and mentoring PhD students and research staff.
