Test Development Engineer / SDET / QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Fuku, a globally expanding consumer internet platform serving hundreds of millions of users across content, community, e-commerce and advertising, is hiring a Test Development Engineer (QA Automation / SDET) in Singapore. The role sits at the intersection of engineering and quality, owning end-to-end quality assurance for global products while driving automation, tooling and scalable testing frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Own the quality assurance lifecycle for international products, covering functional, performance, compatibility and usability testing.
• Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans, and build and maintain automated test frameworks, testing tools and automation scripts.
• Improve testing efficiency and coverage, perform defect root cause analysis and drive issues to resolution.
• Act as a technical partner to product and engineering teams, taking part in requirement reviews and design discussions, and helping identify technical risks early.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software testing and test development/automation.
• Experience with mobile apps (iOS/Android), agent-based systems and international/localisation testing is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and execution skills, and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Effective written and spoken English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Singapore citizens or PRs preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Appium, Espresso and XCUITest.
• Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and common testing frameworks and tools.
