Test Equipment Technician – Semiconductor (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Test Equipment Technician to join a leading US semiconductor company operating in Singapore. The role involves maintaining and repairing high‑precision test equipment on a 12‑month renewable contract, working on‑site at our Bendemeer facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Advantest and IBIR testers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment issues.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and re‑assemble manufacturing test equipment.
• Conduct equipment testing using diagnostic tools.
• Rebuild or modify equipment as directed by engineers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

Required profile

• Nitec or Higher Nitec qualification in Engineering, or relevant engineering work experience.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Experience with Advantest testers.
• Experience with IBIR testers.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools for equipment testing.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical troubleshooting.

What we offer

• Contract length: 12 months, renewable.
• Monthly salary range: SGD 2,000 – 2,500.
