Threat Intel Analyst

About the role

The Threat Intel Analyst will join the Threat Intelligence Research & Analysis (TIRA) team within GovTech's Cyber Security Group. You will be responsible for researching advanced threat actors, analysing their tactics, and delivering actionable intelligence to protect Singapore Government assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth research on advanced threat actors, analysing tactics, techniques, procedures, victimology and motivations.
• Support investigations by contextualising indicators and producing intel assessments.
• Correlate data from multiple intelligence sources to identify patterns, trends and mitigation recommendations.
• Produce timely intelligence briefings, reports and other products for technical and executive audiences.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and methodologies to improve research and analysis capabilities.
• Continuously monitor threat intelligence feeds and stay updated on the evolving cyber threat landscape.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related fields (strongly preferred).
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as GCIH, GCTI, GREM, CISSP (advantageous).
• Experience in threat intelligence, incident response, malware analysis, risk assessment or data analysis.
• Strong understanding of cyber threat analysis models (e.g., cyber kill chain, diamond model, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Highly developed research, analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be a Singapore citizen.
