Tower Crane Operator

About the role

TPS Construction is seeking a qualified Tower Crane Operator to join its Singapore project team. The role involves safely operating tower cranes on a busy construction site and collaborating closely with the lifting crew to support daily building activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tower cranes in accordance with site lifting plans and safety standards.
• Perform daily pre‑operation inspections to confirm equipment readiness.
• Coordinate lifts with Lifting Supervisors, Signalpersons, Riggers and other site personnel.
• Monitor crane performance, report faults promptly and arrange maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to all company, site and regulatory safety requirements.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.

Required profile

• Valid Singapore‑recognised Tower Crane Operator licence/registration.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Luffing Jib or Saddle Jib tower cranes.
• Strong understanding of lifting plans, procedures and safe crane operation.
• High awareness of workplace safety and ability to follow strict protocols.
• Effective communication and coordination skills on site.
