Traffic Engineer – Singapore

About the role

The Traffic Engineer will lead the planning and execution of traffic diversion, drainage diversion and reinstatement works across Singapore. You will collaborate closely with consultants, construction teams and the Land Transport Authority to ensure safe and compliant traffic management throughout project lifecycles.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants and construction teams for traffic diversion, drainage diversion and final reinstatement works.
• Obtain traffic diversion stage approvals from LTA, including PSR and safety submissions.
• Oversee site coordination with sub‑contractors and LTA‑appointed contractors for pre‑ and post‑diversion activities.
• Prepare and submit detailed drawings for approval.
• Develop traffic impact assessments for new proposals.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic‑related works.
• Strong knowledge of LTA road and traffic standards (SDRE, CDC, COP).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and SIDRA is an advantage.
• Proven ability to prepare traffic impact assessments.
