Training Manager – Hoisting & Rigging (APAC)

About the role

As a Training Manager you will join the Sales team to deliver on‑site and online training on Green Pin® products across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will act as the technical point of contact for distributors and end‑users, helping them understand rigging best practices and commercial benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training sessions (in‑person and virtual) for riggers, distributor sales staff and other trainers.
• Collaborate with corporate training, marketing and product management to create training materials and technical documentation.
• Gather customer feedback on products and relay insights to R&D for future development.
• Identify new business opportunities (e.g., product registrations) while expanding your professional network.
• Report to the Area Sales Manager with a dotted‑line relationship to the corporate training department.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hoisting and rigging operations within the industry.
• Completed rigging courses and/or certification from a recognised body (e.g., LEEA).
• Based in the Asia‑Pacific region with willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English to communicate with customers and manufacturers in China.
• Passion for teaching technical concepts and delivering commercial value.

Required skills

• Rigging and hoisting technical knowledge.
• Rigging certification (e.g., LEEA).
• Mandarin language proficiency.
• English language proficiency.
• Proficiency with MS Office, CRM systems and Learning Management software.
