Transportation Specialist – South East Asia

About the role

The Transportation Specialist will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across the South‑East‑Asia region, ensuring materials and finished goods reach the right place at the right time. The role supports drop‑shipments, return shipments, and works closely with local Customer Service and Quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage air, ocean and land transportation for inbound and outbound flows.
• Evaluate and coordinate with freight forwarders, maintaining a database of quotes and agreements.
• Process customs clearance documents, duties invoices and other freight‑forwarding paperwork.
• Monitor shipment statistics, warehouse lead times and accuracy.
• Support internal teams (Order Handling, Logistics, Procurement) with transport‑related queries.
• Execute day‑to‑day operations in SAP B1, including goods receipt, damage reporting and shipment tracking.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and handle ad‑hoc tasks as directed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification.
• 3‑5 years of experience in distribution or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of local governance rules related to logistics.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Fluent English; additional Asian languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including macro programming.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP (SAP B1 preferred).
