About the role
The Travel Systems & Partnerships Lead will shape and scale the organization’s global travel operations, driving system design, workflow automation and strategic vendor relationships. This senior position sits within the Sea Travel Desk under the Group COO Office and partners closely with regional teams to deliver efficient, AI‑enabled travel experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Design, improve and govern travel systems, workflows and policies to enhance scalability and user experience.
- Lead consolidation and standardisation of domestic travel operations across multiple markets.
- Own travel‑systems enhancement projects, including workflow redesign, automation, rollout and stakeholder management.
- Develop AI‑assisted and agentic workflows for approval routing, reporting automation, anomaly detection and traveller support.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels, travel vendors and booking platforms to optimise cost and service delivery.
- Collaborate with regional travel teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to align operations and integrate workflows.
- Report and analyse travel spend, booking trends and operational performance on a regular basis.
- Support escalations, urgent travel requests and after‑hours travel emergencies as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business operations, project management, travel systems, partnerships, consulting or process transformation.
- Strong systems‑thinking ability and proven track record of driving workflow or operational transformation initiatives.
- Experience with automation, AI‑enabled workflows, operational analytics or process optimisation.
- Demonstrated interest in building AI‑assisted or agentic workflows to improve scalability and user experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project‑management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands‑on operational execution.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
- Willingness to support after‑hours emergencies and work one weekend every two months (off‑in‑lieu provided).
