UI Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Apple’s Enterprise Technology and Services (ETS) team is seeking a UI Full Stack Engineer who will split time between hands‑on architectural design, coding of scalable user‑interface systems, and direct engagement with strategic partners. The role bridges deep technical work with partner collaboration to shape the future of Apple’s hardware‑engineering applications.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of UI features, from design handoff through production, across ambiguous problem spaces.
• Build performant, accessible, and maintainable interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement lightweight backend APIs and data layers that serve the UI.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams, clearly communicating technical trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Identify root causes of complex frontend issues using advanced debugging and analytical techniques.
• Mentor early‑career engineers and model inclusive team behaviours.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of software engineering experience with strong frontend depth.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and the modern JavaScript ecosystem.
• Experience independently owning ambiguous deliverables with minimal direction.
• Ability to design and consume RESTful or GraphQL APIs and own backend endpoints that serve the UI.
• Strong cross‑team communication skills, adapting style for engineers, designers, and non‑technical partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
