Vice President – Architecture Studio

About the role

The Vice President will lead the Architecture studio, overseeing end‑to‑end project delivery, design excellence, and business development while holding full P&L responsibility. This senior position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on architectural oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously (3‑4 at a time) from concept through construction.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to design teams, ensuring solutions meet client requirements.
• Lead business development activities, attend client meetings, and prepare tender bids and proposals.
• Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and present design proposals.
• Negotiate design requirements and progress with contractors, and oversee contract administration to ensure compliance with building codes.
• Coordinate on‑site work, resolve design‑related issues, and collaborate with engineers and surveyors.
• Assume the role of Project Director, managing project P&L, resource planning, and potentially acting as Lead Architect.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading architectural design teams and delivering complex projects.
• Strong business development acumen with a track record of winning new work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and resources.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and contractor negotiation.
