Vice President, Cybersecurity & Governance

About the role

We are seeking a senior executive to lead our cybersecurity and governance function. The Vice President will shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect both IT and OT critical assets across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and promote security policies, standards and procedures for IT and OT environments, aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001, CCoP 2.0 and CP8.
• Lead sector‑wide cybersecurity programmes, coordinate internal and external forums, and manage risk and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee security audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and red/purple‑team exercises, ensuring controls are effective.
• Provide training and awareness programmes for employees and contractors, and manage security incidents, crisis response and business continuity plans.
• Administer and optimise cybersecurity tools, deliver VAPT services, and liaise with vendors to meet compliance requirements.
• Plan and execute budgeted cybersecurity projects and continuously monitor emerging threats to enhance the organisation’s security posture.

Required profile

• 15‑25 years of full‑time experience in cybersecurity, including policy formulation, incident response, regulatory oversight and compliance.
• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH or CRISC.

Required skills

• Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and red/purple‑team exercises.
• Security governance, risk management and regulatory reporting.
• Implementation of ISO 27001, CCoP 2.0 and other industry standards.
• Administration of cybersecurity tools and services for IT and OT environments.
