Vice President, Regional Wealth Strategy & Transformation

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group is looking for a Vice President, Regional Wealth Strategy & Transformation within its International Connectivity & Transformation Regional team in CBG/Wealth Management. The role shapes the strategy for Global Wealth Management, anchored in Wealth Continuum, Wealth Connectivity and operating model transformation, to support the group's Trillion Dollar ambition by 2030. It is based in the COO office in DBS Asia Central.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the strategic planning of the Wealth Platform and Solutions agenda, including strategy development, cost savings, economic value and yearly department scorecards.
• Lead financial modelling, prepare business plans and run feasibility studies to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Pivot the Consumer Bank's target operating model to support the Global Wealth Management agenda, including initiative tracking.
• Support and project manage strategic partnerships that expand access to new geographies and customer pools, strengthen data and technology capabilities and deliver innovative client solutions.
• Prepare presentations and materials for senior management regularly and ad hoc, covering market insights, Wealth agenda progress and strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• At least an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, strategy planning, management consulting or a related field, with Wealth Management or Consumer Banking experience.
• Deep understanding of the Wealth Management business, with experience in local or foreign universal banks or FinTech players in this space.
• Experience in both project managing and/or executing large-scale operating model transformation is highly desirable.
