Vocational Trainer – Retail Operations (Choa Chu Kang)

About the role

The Vocational Trainer will design and deliver retail operations training aligned with the WSQ framework, supporting students with diverse learning needs. The role focuses on creating engaging, evidence‑based lessons and fostering a safe, supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑paced lessons that cater to varied learner profiles.
• Use evidence‑based pedagogy and meaningful activities to meet individual educational needs.
• Implement assessments, provide feedback, and apply instructional supports to close learning gaps.
• Develop and run on‑site vocational programmes that build work‑related skills.
• Build strong relationships with students, demonstrating care and encouragement.
• Establish positive classroom routines and manage challenging behaviours.
• Engage in professional development and collaborative learning teams.
• Handle daily administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and communication with families.
• Perform quality assurance management tasks for the department.

Required profile

• Degree/Diploma/Higher NITEC in Retail Operations or Retail Operations – Omni Channel (E‑Commerce).
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in warehousing.
• Experience in E‑Commerce/Omni Channel is an advantage.
• Experience in teaching or special‑needs education is an advantage.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
