VP, IT Infrastructure & Support (Banking)

About the role

A leading financial institution in Singapore is hiring a VP of IT Infrastructure and Support for its banking unit. This is a standalone, high-impact leadership role covering enterprise IT operations, infrastructure improvements, cybersecurity governance, vendor management and business-critical technology initiatives. The role works closely with senior stakeholders across Singapore and China.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily infrastructure operations, troubleshoot issues, ensure stable systems, security compliance and business continuity.
• Lead IT projects, deployments, upgrades, vendor coordination and operational improvements.
• Develop security policies, governance frameworks and procedures aligned with banking regulations and industry standards.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify technology needs, recommend solutions and improve productivity.
• Supervise outsourced support resources, manage budgets and maintain reliable enterprise-wide IT environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of infrastructure or IT operations experience in banking, financial services or regulated enterprises.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proven leadership experience managing vendors, mentoring teams and driving projects.

Required skills

• Strong technical expertise on servers, networks, end-user computing, enterprise applications, cybersecurity and infrastructure operations.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex infrastructure incidents.
