VP, Project Manager / Implementation Manager - Client PMO, Transaction Banking

About the role

Citi is looking for an Implementation Manager / Project Manager for its Client Project Management Office in Transaction Banking. The role manages highly complex, time-sensitive client implementations covering cash management and trade products, with a portfolio of about 10 to 20 cluster and/or global client projects depending on scope and complexity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time and to a high standard of quality and professionalism, implementing client objectives within standard guidelines and timeframes.
• Advise clients on the overall project structure and help fine-tune solutions to fit client needs.
• Act as the primary client interface while coordinating internal and external project activities.
• Support sales by taking part in deal teams preparing client pitches.
• Comply with audit, regulatory and compliance directives.
• Manage and resolve issues and escalations through proper issue tracking and escalation channels.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements and implement them where possible.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or university degree; a master's degree is good to have.
• 5 to 7 years of client management, implementation or project management experience is good to have.
• In-depth knowledge of cash and trade products and business processes is an advantage.
• Strong influencing skills to manage virtual teams.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese proficiency is an advantage.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of MS Office products, including MS Project.
• Project management certification (an advantage).
