VP, Relationship Manager (NRI Market), Private Banking

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group is looking for a VP, Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients within its private banking offering, with a specific focus on the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) market. The role sits in the Consumer Banking Group, which offers deposits, investments, insurance, mortgages, credit cards and personal loans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing personalized wealth management solutions and financial advisory services
• Build strong client relationships by understanding their financial goals and risk profiles and recommending suitable investment strategies
• Work with investment specialists and product experts to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions
• Monitor client portfolios proactively and adjust them in line with changing needs and market conditions
• Identify new business opportunities and cross-selling initiatives to support the growth of the Consumer Banking Group
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies on client service and risk management

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in wealth management or private banking, with a proven record of client acquisition and portfolio management
• Established network of high-net-worth clients in the NRI region
• Relevant certifications such as CFP or CFA are preferred

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret financial data and make informed investment recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients
• Thorough understanding of financial markets, investment products and wealth management strategies
• Team collaboration
