VP, Relationship Manager, Private Banking (North Asia Market)

About the role

DBS Private Banking offers a full-service, personalised banking service for its clients in Asia, supported by a team of investment advisors and partnerships across the DBS network and with global institutions. This role sits in the Consumer Banking Group, based in DBS Asia Central, and focuses on growing the business through acquisition and retention of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients in the North Asia market.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the business through proactive acquisition and retention of HNW/UHNW clients in the North Asia market.
• Implement a geographically focused strategy in line with the overall business strategy.
• Build a deep understanding of clients' investment needs.
• Provide sound financial advice to clients in partnership with Investment Counsellors and Product Specialists.
• Act as a strong advisor to clients throughout their wealth journeys and strengthen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with the bank's and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of private banking products and solutions.
• Deep expertise and relevant networks in the North Asia market.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong client focus.
• Team player able to collaborate widely with internal stakeholders to drive client acquisition and retention.
