VP, Treasures Team Head YFJ (Onshore), Consumer Banking

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group is looking for a VP, Treasures Team Head (YFJ, onshore) based at the Treasures Centre in Newton. The role leads a centre within the group's wealth management and advisory business, which offers banking, insurance, investment and Best-In-Class treasury products to its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of accountability for the assigned centres for operational and service delivery.
• Review and implement work processes, procedures and audit controls so that internal and external regulatory requirements are met.
• Manage the customer base and the operating complexity of the centre.
• Lead and drive sales performance individually and as a team to meet the centre's business objectives and sales targets.
• Ensure needs-based selling and service compliance with regulatory and internal audit/security requirements.
• Deploy resources effectively to maximise productivity.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture to attract, develop and retain top-performing advisory staff.

Required profile

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, preferably with a strong sales management track record.
• Proven success leading sales management teams, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
• Good knowledge of financial costing, including P&L management and business marketing strategies and techniques.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and people management skills, able to relate to and manage staff at all levels.
