VP/AVP, Treasures Team Head YFJ (Onshore), Consumer Banking

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group is looking for a VP/AVP, Treasures Team Head (YFJ, onshore) to lead a centre in its Treasures team. The role acts as a single point of accountability for operational and service delivery, manages the customer base and leads sales performance to meet team targets. The location is Treasures Centre, Newton.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a single point of accountability for the assigned centre for all operational and service delivery.
• Review and implement work processes, procedures and audit controls to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Manage the customer base and the operating complexities within the centre.
• Lead and drive sales performance individually and as a team to achieve the team's business objectives and sales targets.
• Ensure needs-based selling and service compliance in line with regulatory and internal audit/security requirements.
• Deploy resources effectively to maximise productivity.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture to attract, develop and retain high-performing advisory staff.

Required profile

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of work experience in the banking and finance industry, preferably with a strong track record in sales management.
• Proven success leading sales management teams, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
• Good knowledge of financial costing, including P&L management and business marketing strategies and techniques.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and people-management skills, able to relate to and manage staff at all levels.
