Warehouse Executive

About the role

The Warehouse Executive will oversee daily operations at SUNLIGHT ELECTRICAL's Singapore warehouse, ensuring smooth coordination of inbound and outbound shipments between Singapore and Malaysia. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the role focuses on accurate inventory control and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receiving, unloading, inspecting, and verifying incoming supplies against purchase orders.
• Conduct daily and weekly stock checks, initiate replenishment requests, and monitor stock movements.
• Perform comprehensive inventories and weekly cycle counts, updating material consumption in the system.
• Verify quantities and quality of received items, and ensure components issued to production match picking lists.
• Coordinate with internal departments and transporters to avoid delivery delays.
• Implement safe warehouse practices, identify hazards, and recommend procedural improvements.
• Support and lead a team of warehouse staff to meet operational goals.
• Execute additional duties related to warehouse and logistics functions as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
• Diploma in any field.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Proactive, organized, meticulous, and able to work under tight schedules.

Required skills

• Experience with warehouse management software.
• Knowledge of Material Resources Planning (MRP) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of bar‑coding procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
