Workplace Safety and Health Officer

About the role

Citadel Search is recruiting a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer to provide enforcement support for workplace safety and health regulations, identify and assess foreseeable risks, and ensure compliance with company safety policies and the WSH Act in Singapore. The role is based on construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on work plans, risk assessments and safe work procedures to promote best practice at the construction site.
• Recommend and take reasonably practical actions to eliminate foreseeable safety risks.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, plant, installations and articles in the workplace to ensure safety standards are met.
• Organize safety and health awareness programmes to build a safety culture.
• Compile safety and health audit reports and carry out daily safety inspections to monitor compliance and address hazards promptly.

Required profile

• Registered as a WSHO / ECO with MOM.
• At least 3 years of WSHO experience on LTA projects, preferably tunnelling projects.
• Relevant certificates in confined space, risk management, work at height, first aid and other safety courses.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations and practices in the construction industry.
• Willingness to work 6 days, 7.30am to 6pm.
