Academy Manager

About the role

The Academy Manager acts as a learning partner and capability advisor for Singapore Pools' divisions and its charity partners. The role identifies capability gaps, creates learning plans, and leads the design, development, and delivery of tailored learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the capability partner to divisional heads, facilitating capability planning aligned with business priorities.
• Develop and maintain divisional capability and learning plans, linking staff needs to role‑based pathways and Academy programmes.
• Conduct formal and informal needs assessments, distinguishing learning needs from other issues.
• Design, develop, and implement division‑specific learning solutions using face‑to‑face, blended, digital, or workplace methods.
• Engage internal subject‑matter experts, associate trainers, and external vendors to deliver learning interventions.
• Provide stakeholder insights based on learning and business data, and cascade Academy’s learning strategy across divisions.

Required profile

• Experience in learning and development or capability building within a corporate or non‑profit environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills, able to work with senior leaders.
• Proven ability to conduct needs assessments and translate findings into actionable learning solutions.
• Self‑starter who can independently design, develop, and implement learning programmes.
