Account Executive

About the role

Sigma Food Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Junior Account Executive to manage the full set of accounting functions for its manufacturing operations. The role involves handling general ledger, payables, receivables, and supporting financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including daily payment records.
• Track raw material costs, overhead expenses and assist with periodic stock‑taking and inventory valuation.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets and support budget forecasting.
• Conduct monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations and process customer invoices and vendor payments.
• Support year‑end audit activities and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field; professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA are a plus.
• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as SAP, ACCPAC or other ERP systems.
