Account Manager, Financial Services

About the role

AlphaSense is seeking an Account Manager for its Financial Services segment. You will act as the primary liaison for hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks and private equity firms, ensuring they receive the data and insights needed to make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain three‑dimensional relationships with financial services customers.
• Retain and grow the existing client base through proactive engagement and renewal discussions.
• Serve as the main point of contact for inbound queries, outbound outreach, relationship updates and contract renewals.
• Collaborate with account executives to identify and pursue new business opportunities within each account.
• Extract client feedback and market insights to inform product, marketing and sales strategies.
• Drive product usage and adoption, acting as a value‑added partner to clients.

Required profile

• Consultative mindset with a strong focus on customer success.
• Experience working with financial institutions such as hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks or private equity firms.
• Ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach across product, marketing and sales teams.
