Active Mobility Enforcement Officer

About the role

The Active Mobility Enforcement Officer will patrol public roads and pathways, ensuring compliance with traffic and active‑mobility device regulations. Acting as an ambassador for the Land Transport Authority, you will also educate road users about safe practices and LTA schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols on roads and footpaths to monitor vehicle and active‑mobility device usage.
• Issue enforcement actions to users who breach rules and regulations.
• Engage with the public to provide information on LTA initiatives and promote responsible usage.
• Support major national events and public‑holiday duties as required.
• Undertake a 3‑4 week training course and pass a written competency test before deployment.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in enforcement, operations, or other public‑facing roles.
• Physical fitness, good eyesight and normal colour vision.
• Positive attitude, self‑discipline and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (Malay, Tamil, Mandarin) are a plus.
• Willingness to work shift and ad‑hoc duties, including event support.

Required skills

• Possession of a Class 2A (or higher) driver’s licence is advantageous.
• Ability to remain composed and solve problems under challenging circumstances.
