Assistant Human Resources Manager – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Human Resources Manager to support HR operations across Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong and Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong. You will help drive employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits while fostering a positive team culture in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist day‑to‑day HR operations including employee relations, recruitment, selection and compensation.
• Promote a positive team culture and ensure a unique guest experience.
• Support HR budgeting, expense control and staffing cost monitoring.
• Coordinate relationships with schools and manage part‑time/casual labour recruitment.
• Educate managers on progressive discipline, performance management and related programmes.
• Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure compliance with hiring standards and local labour laws.
• Administer onboarding, off‑boarding, orientation, exit interviews and employment documentation.
• Process payroll, medical and insurance claims, IR21 and MOM survey submissions.
• Organise HR activities such as town‑halls, staff events and employee satisfaction surveys.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore labour laws.
• Excellent organisational, communication and presentation abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask.
