Assistant Manager, Commercial (Modules)

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Commercial (Modules) supports the preparation of all commercial aspects of on‑shore and off‑shore modules construction projects. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments to assemble cost, pricing, and technical information for tender proposals, with the aim of securing project awards.

Key responsibilities

• Review pre‑qualification documentation, gather supporting files, prepare questionnaires and submit responses while monitoring client deadlines.
• Compile and analyse customer enquiries, RFQs and tenders, assess sanction and credit risk, and coordinate the creation of commercial proposals.
• Prepare costing and pricing using established Excel templates, collate material and labour costs, and document tender qualifications and exceptions.
• Present clean commercial and technical tender packages for senior management approval, follow up on client feedback, and respond to clarifications.
• Upon award, develop presentation materials summarising scope, technical, and commercial details for internal hand‑over.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial management or tendering for construction or offshore modules projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Familiarity with pre‑qualification processes, cost estimation, and pricing methodologies.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for cost modelling and pricing templates.
