Assistant / Project Manager – ACMV/HVAC Projects

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to lead and deliver ACMV/HVAC projects within our organization. The role involves overseeing project planning, execution, and hand‑over while ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project budgets and source suppliers and subcontractors.
• Oversee and coordinate site activities for projects.
• Develop design proposals, perform calculations, ensure compliance, and submit shop drawings and equipment/materials for approval.
• Prepare and submit as‑built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals, and conduct client training during hand‑over.
• Produce progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation, and presentations.
• Manage a team of engineers, supervisors, suppliers, subcontractors, and workers during execution.
• Monitor construction progress, submit progress and variation claims, and close final accounts.
• Attend site meetings with developers, architects, consultants, and main contractors.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of ACMV/HVAC experience in a local construction environment.
• Experience in general building works / M&E services is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.

Required skills

• Design and engineering of ACMV systems.
• Installation of chillers, air handling units (AHU), VRV systems, split units and mechanical ventilation (MV) systems.
• Preparation of shop drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Creation of operation and maintenance manuals.
• Project budgeting and cost control.
